ShoreBest 2419 Stain Resistant Floor Sealer is a waterborne sealer based on fluorinated resin technology. It dries to a glossy film which will protect the surface from dirt and most stains. It can be used on polished concrete surfaces as well as decorative concrete. Like most waterborne sealers, 2419 has some vapor permeability.

For sealing or resealing cured concrete, it is strongly suggested to thoroughly clean the surface with a quality cleaner like 2790 Con-D-Soil and pressure washing to remove any dirt, stains, or loose sealer. Allow to dry before applying. Protect all non masonry surfaces from dripping or over spray. Provide protection for windows, foliage, adjacent surfaces that are not to receive treatment, vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Take precautions to protect other surfaces from wind drift.

Apply 2419 at a rate of 250 - 1000 square feet per gallon depending on surface texture and desired gloss. ShoreBest 2419 Stain Resistant Floor Sealer is normally applied by low pressure, garden-type pump sprayer followed by leveling with a brush or microfiber floor finish applicator pad. For best results, apply a second coat within 1 hour of the initial application. DO NOT ALLOW THE FIRST COAT TO DRY COMPLETELY BETWEEN APPLICATIONS. Cleanup of tools or equipment can be done with warm soap and water. Dried or partially dried films may require a polar solvent such as alcohol, acetone, or glycol ether to remove.

All applicators must wear standard OSHA or NIOSH recommended protective equipment. Unlike many other sealers, 2419 does not contain NMP solvent. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not smoke, eat or drink during application. Refer to the proper MSDS Sheet for persons exposed to or reacting to the product.

First Aid

Skin Contact: Flush with soap and water, remove contaminated clothing, and thoroughly clean contaminated clothing before reuse. If irritation or rash develops, consult a physician. Eyes: Flush immediately with large quantities of water for 15 minutes while holding eyelids apart. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Ingestion: Drink large amounts of water. Seek medical attention.
