2330 Graffiti Resistant Treatment

2330 Graffiti Resistant Treatment is a water dispersion of a fluorochemical polymer, which forms a durable, non-visible, penetrating treatment for use on porous surfaces. 2330 will create an oleo phobic (oil repelling) shield against the penetration of most graffiti applications to concrete, wood and non-polished masonry surfaces. 2330 has been successful in providing an easy solution for the removal of non-catalyzed paints, spray paints, crayon, motor oils and some other forms of graffiti from porous masonry surfaces. Multiple removals, without retreating, are possible when graffiti is removed with ShoreBest 2340 Graffiti Remover. 2330 Should be reapplied whenever it is determined that water darkens the surface after a removal has taken place.

Preparation
Provide protection for all non-masonry surfaces. Test all areas to determine if there will be any adverse effects. In most cases, 2330 is non visible on unpolished masonry surfaces. Some wood and exposed aggregate concrete surfaces may change in appearance. Only a test application will determine if there will be any change that might not be acceptable. Allow the test area to dry before making a final determination regarding acceptance for your project.

Application
Apply undiluted 2330 to a clean dry surface by brush, spray or roller making sure that a thorough saturation of the surface is accomplished. On an average surface the application rate will be about 200 square feet per gallon. Make sure that during the initial application, sufficient material is applied to the surface. A second application is not possible to make up for deficiencies due to the water repellent nature of the product.

Do not allow 2330 to dry on the surface of equipment or any surface that is not to be treated. After the treatment is completed, immediately clean all equipment with water. During application, any surface that accidentally comes in contact with the treatment must immediately be cleaned with water and rags or other appropriate cleaning material.

Limitations
Apply 2330 to a clean dry surface only. Do not apply when surface and ambient temperatures are below 50 degrees F or above 90 degrees F and if rain is expected within 12 hours. . Minimum temperatures must be maintained for at least 12 hours after application. Do not reapply to any treated surface as long as the surface does not show wetness after splashed water contact. Do not apply to polished masonry, other polished surfaces or surfaces previously treated with any type of sealer or water repellent.
