SB 2160 Tunnel Cleaner

The development of SB2160 Tunnel Cleaner is the result of extensive experience with hard surface cleaning compounds. SB2160 Tunnel Cleaner is especially effective in the removal of auto & diesel exhaust as well as road dirt from tile and other hard surface cladding materials. Due to the unique blending of chemicals, it provides additional cleaning power to attack and lift the offensive soiling from tunnel walls.

Preparation

Provide protection for all painted, aluminum and anodized surfaces, foliage and pedestrian traffic. Test all other non-masonry surfaces for adverse reactions as described below. Protect all surfaces and surrounding areas from possible damage which might occur from spillage or spray during usage.

Pre-wetting of the surface may be helpful in some cases, all other applications are to a dry surface. Provide protection for pedestrian and auto traffic. Protect all other areas from possible spillage or spray during usage.

All projects should start with a test application to determine the suitability of the cleaner, acceptable application method, dwell time and in some cases the dilution ratio. Test areas of at least 10 square feet are recommended and should involve the most severely contaminated area. When possible, the test area should be left to age for 10 or more days to check for possible adverse reactions. Do not use on polished limestone, marble or granite.

Safe on concrete, iron, magnesium, steel, stainless steel, neoprene, nylon, plastic and rubber.

Dilution and Coverage

Dilution varies dependent on the surface, porosity of the surface and degree of soiling/stains, etc. Can be diluted up to 30:1 depending on type of surface and soiling conditions. Test application is highly recommended to determine dilution rate and appropriate dwell time. Optimum dwell time and dilution rate may change with weather conditions.

Coverage: Dependent upon substrate and other conditions

Application

SB 2160 Tunnel Cleaner may be applied by low-pressure spray, synthetic fiber brush or roller. Do not use sprayers with aluminum parts or natural bristle brushes. Brush application and agitation may prove helpful in some situations. Dwell times may vary from 5 to 60 minutes. Remove the cleaner and contaminant with a high-pressure water rinse.

SB 2160 Tunnel Cleaner is for use by professional contractors only. Do not use SB 2160 on black marble. Do not allow the cleaner to dry on the surface. If the cleaner begins to dry, lightly mist the surface with clean water and allow the cleaner to continue working.
