SB2365 Artillery Spores & More

SB 2365 Artillery Spores & More is a non-acid cleaner for the general maintenance and cleaning of EIFS [Exterior Insulation Finishing Systems] surfaced buildings, aluminum and vinyl siding. SB 2365 is specially formulated to provide the extended dwell time to allow the removal of very tenacious biological growths like artillery spores as well as atmospheric soiling, auto and diesel exhaust, some oxidation stains and most organic growth.

Preparation

Provide protection for foliage and pedestrian traffic.Test all surfaces which might be exposed to product for possible adverse reactions. Protect all surfaces and surrounding areas from possible damage which might occur from spillage or spray during usage. All projects should start with a test application to determine the suitability of the cleaner, acceptable application method and dilution ratio if applicable. Test areas of at least 10 square feet are recommended and should involve the most severely contaminated condition. When possible, the test area should be left to dry in order to check for any latent reaction that might require a change in methods or products.

Dilution and Coverage

Dilution: Product used undiluted or at a 1 part water to 1 part product dilution for tenacious stain removal. For routine maintenance cleaning, dilutions with up to 10 parts water to 1 part product may be used.

Coverage: Dependent upon substrate and other conditions

Application

SB 2365 Artillery Spores & More may be applied by airless spray, synthetic fiber brush or roller. Pre-wet porous sub- strates with water and all substrates when weather conditions are hot and dry. Brush agitation may be helpful on some projects. Dwell times may vary from 5 to 30 minutes. For removal of artillery spores dwell times of 1-1/2 to 2 hours may be needed. Do not allow the cleaner to dry on the surface. Keep the surface wet by misting with water and/or occasional brushing to bring fresh cleaner to the substrate surface. Removal of the cleaner and contamination can be accom- plished with high pressure rinsing equipment. Care should be taken in the selection of the wand tip to avoid damage to the EIFS surface. In all cases, a thorough rinsing is required.

SB 2365 Artillery Spores and More is for use by professional contractors only. Projects should not be undertaken when temperatures are below 50 degrees F. Do not allow the cleaner to dry on the surface. Misting of drying cleaner is permissible to avoid possible reapplication. Do not use on polished masonry.
